Asa
Cheffetz studied at the Boston Art Museum and the National Academy
of Design in New York. His works, mostly wood etchings and engravings,
are in the permanent collections of several museums in the United
States and in Europe. He designed and engraved the official bookplate
for the Library of Congress in 1944. His work was included in the
Fifty Prints of the Year in 1929 and 1934.
